Senior Business Development Manager/Proposals

Samantha (Sam) Jade leads the proposal process for GOPA Group US, managing and supporting all stages—from capture to proposal preparation and submission.  With a decade of experience in international development, Sam plays a key role in refining internal processes and supporting the team in delivering successful proposals. She has worked with a range of partners, from small businesses to large implementers, bringing tailored business development solutions to meet their unique needs.

Sam’s career in International Development began as a Peace Corps Health Volunteer in Mozambique. After earning her Master’s Degree in International and Intercultural Communication, she spent several years in project management before realizing her passion for the goal-driven, strategic nature of Business Development.

Sam is also deeply committed to mentoring others, sharing her knowledge of the proposal process, and is keen to win new projects for GOPA. Outside of work, she enjoys exercising, reading, traveling, and practicing her Portuguese. She is also a DONA-trained Birth Doula, occasionally assisting with births in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
