Sandra Shuster
Senior Advisor, Strategy and Business Development
Sandra is a senior international development executive with 30 years of experience designing programs and managing diverse teams in high-pressure, dynamic environments. She has served as Chief of Party in six countries in, or emerging from conflict, and has worked in more than 60 developing countries throughout the globe. She has secured $800m+ for projects funded by public and private sector clients, including multi-lateral and bi-lateral institutions (USAID, World Bank, IDB, IFC, ADB, AFDB).
Sandra is passionate about the energy transition and has twelve years of experience formulating strategy and winning work in the energy transition space. She is a dot-connector extraordinaire with an entrepreneurial spirit and a diverse skill set that includes building teams that deliver results, developing and executing growth strategy, program design, and operations. Sandra’s technical areas of expertise include stabilization/conflict mitigation, democracy and governance, renewable energy, and community revitalization.
Sandra is also a certified executive coach, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, and is fluent in Spanish and French. She has a BA in International Development/African Studies from the University of Minnesota and has a Masters in International Public Policy/Conflict Mitigation from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
