Egypt: Capacity-building workshop supports service providers
A capacity-building workshop held in Cairo on 20 – 21 March brought together thirty participants from four service providers, including Nile University, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), Zewail City of Science and Technology and the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI).
The workshop was organised within the context of the GIZ programme, “Private sector development and innovation - PSI”, which aims to support the MTI in strengthening the competitiveness of Egyptian enterprises by modernising technology capacities within selected manufacturing industries and service providers. Workshop participants received guidance in analysing innovation cases, developing business cases, preparing techno-economical proposals, and in the preparation of tailored service plans.
GOPA’s Governance and Economic Development is supporting the project implementation team along with project partner Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS) through to December 2023.
