Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon recently inaugurated partial renovations and refurbishment of the Vose Central District Hospital (CDH). Vose CDH is the second of six hospitals that are being planned, constructed or rehabilitated and equipped in the context of the Mother and Child, Emergency Care Project II-V in Khatlon oblast which began in December 2014 and will run to December 2022.
The project is being implemented by the consortium GOPA Worldwide Consultants, GOPA Infra and Irfat with support from the KfW Development Bank and the Tajik Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population. Recent renovations included the re-organisation of hospital department locations in order to provide better perinatal services to mothers and their newborns.
