New BMZ-GIZ publication: Promoting Employment-Oriented Cooperative TVET in Partner Countries
Our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) team was commissioned by GIZ to conduct a major study on “Promoting Employment-Oriented Cooperative TVET in Partner Countries – Approaches, Lessons Learnt and Recommendations from German Development Cooperation”.
The research team to design and implement the study was composed of three external experts. Methods used included comprehensive desk research, analysis by means of semi-structured interviews with relevant project staff, and the description of concrete project examples in the form of 13 case studies.
Upon project completion, we had the honour of presenting the findings of the study to GIZ and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) at a joint workshop.
We thank all interview partners and the GOPA Worldwide Consultants’ expert team who enabled this insightful publication covering key conclusions and recommendations for requirements on effective cooperative TVET – as well as related transferable knowledge products from German, Austrian and Swiss development cooperation to promote employment-oriented cooperate TVET worldwide.
We are pleased to announce that the complete study is publicly available as a BMZ publication and can be downloaded via this link.
