The GFFA also served to discuss with main international players about the transformation of global food systems and a more sustainable agricultural production. Representing the projects "German-Ukrainian Cooperation in Organic Agriculture” (http://coa-ukraine.com/ua/) and “German Food Bridge” (BMEL - Internationales - German Food Bridge für Lebensmittelhilfen der Ernährungswirtschaft in die Ukraine), AFC TL Stefan Dreesmann, André Pilling and Mariya Yaroshoko received certificates of appreciation from the German Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture Cem Özdemir.

Both the German Federal Minister and the Parliamentary State Secretary Dr Nick honored the German Food Bridge in their GFFA opening speeches for its continuous humanitarian support to Ukraine. While visiting the forum together with his Ukranian colleague Mykola Solskyi, the Minister also emphasized that the German support and funding by the Bundesministerium für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft for the Ukrainian agricultural sector will continue.
